Universal Car Mount with USB Charger & FM Transmitter (MX100)

Works great

Because my hometown recently passed a new ordinance banning cell phone use during driving, this handy device became an automotive necessity as well as a convenience. As mentioned by other reviewers and for the regular price point of around $30, the device certainly gives you value exceeding expectations. First, the ability top charge the phone in the cradle is awesome and a big selling point for me.

The "claws" hold my iPhone 6 securely and allows simple flexibility for repositioning as needed during use while driving. The overall design is appealing and should easily work for most if not all car/truck configurations especially with the 360° rotating and adjustable holder that can accommodate almost any viewing angle or orientation.

The FM transmitter provide good reception resulting in sound and microphone quality during use for handsfree calling that is more reliable and better than what I'm able to achieve using the OEM system. The control buttons work flawlessly with my iPhone hardware, so no complaints there. Last, although I've never have to use the warranty service for any Alpatronix device I own -- five total different items -- the standard limited 1-year manufacturer's warranty and commitment for 100% customer satisfaction is a nice feature as well for pre-purchase consideration.

This is a handy device that works great in my car! I use it because I don't have bluetooth capability through the speakers in my car and it works wonderfully! I also stream music from my ipod and you wouldn't even know it's not coming directly from the stereo.

At first glance, the product doesn't look as if it will be sturdy enough to hold a phone in an Otter case however, it held securely and did not move around while I drove. The only issue I had was the product itself fit only "one" way into my lighter and as such, the USB outlet was blocked by my console. I haven't tested it in other vehicles so I don't know if it would be the same problem but I have a small car (older model) and perhaps that is why I had this issue.

Other than that, it worked great! I just wish the USB outlet was easier to access, perhaps on the top instead of on the left side. It fit my DROID MAXX perfectly though and worked really well.

I absolutely love this product. I like the idea that I can listen to my mp3 music that is in my phone through the speakers in my car while I am also charging it. The extra power outlet is a huge plus as well. I can't ask for a better product.

Set up was easy and love being able to listen to my music thru the auto speakers. Gooseneck mount made viewing screen easy while driving and charging while playing was great for trips.
